Summer Reading Links and Documents
Start recording your SUMMER READING MINUTES NOW!
These minutes can be recorded through two options from now until September 1, 2015.
1. Sign up online by using www.read.lva.virgina.gov . Create your own account and start to log your minutes! You will need to print your reading log at the end of the summer to turn in to your new teacher.
2. Print the Redskins Read Sheet below and write your minutes on there.
*BE SURE TO HAVE A PARENT SIGN YOUR READING LOG AT THE END OF THE SUMMER!!**
**If you choose the online version, you can earn online badges, play online games, and have the chance to win an iPad mini! You can also find out about upcoming events that will be offered through the library. There is one on June 13th as well as August 1st.

Library Checkout Policy:
All Primary students may check out 2 books. Students in Grades 3-5 may checkout 3 items per week.
All grade levels are scheduled to come to the library once a week for 45 minutes as part of the school resource schedule. Students may also visit the library to take Accelerated Reader tests.
Library Book Return and Renewal:
Library books are due in one week. Students who have not finished reading a book may renew .
Late Book Policy:
Students will not be able to check out a new book until all late books are returned, or the replacement fee is paid for a book that is lost. A letter will be sent home with the student letting his/her parent know of any lost library books.
